    We recognize that communities benefit from healthy and resilient families. Additionally, we understand that unforeseen events impact all families and pose significant challenges to day-to-day family life. The Foundation seeks to fund programs that nurture, strengthen and support families as well as help families to stabilize during times of transition. These may include:

    Programs that help parents develop skills .

    Programs that enrich family bonds through access to nature and related activities.

    Programs that support families through challenges and hardships.

  • Youth Development

    We recognize that today’s youth are the future of communities. The Foundation seeks to fund programs that lessen the impact of socioeconomic barriers in order to help youth to realize their fullest potential. These may include:

    Youth mentoring, tutoring, job training and college/career planning.

    Opportunities to learn outside the traditional classroom (nature-based and environmental education, after-school and summer enrichment programs).

    Innovative programs designed to fulfill community needs.

  • Environmental Stewardship

    We recognize that communities are enriched by healthy environments and ecologically sustainable practices. The Foundation seeks to fund programs that educate communities to take action towards a more sustainable/renewable future. These may include:

    Programs that reduce environmental impacts and promote sustainable actions (such as recycling, reducing impacts, resource conservation, and pollution prevention)

    Programs that promote healthy and active communities.

    Programs that provide educational experiences by connecting people with the natural world and its inherent value.
